Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting seeks a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure in the Atlanta, GA area. You will guide the installation, startup, testing and commissioning of large-scale building automation systems, coordinating with design engineers, contractors and client staff to ensure robust operation and acceptance.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/electrical systems knowledge, PLC/SCADA experience, and a proven ability to lead small teams while maintaining safety and quality standards in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline is required.
• 2+ years hands-on installation, testing and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure is expected.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA implementations and commissioning is preferred.
• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate with contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, commissioning and closeout of BAS/EPMS/HVAC controls projects.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and client staff to ensure acceptance of automation solutions.
• Oversee installation work by electrical sub-contractors and teams of up to six integrators.
• Provide QA/QC of BAS/EPMS systems and documentation of as-built conditions.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve project efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate progress and issues with stakeholders on a regular basis.
