Job summary

Molex is expanding its Copper Solutions Business Unit with a System Architect role for the Enterprise Products team. You will influence customer architectures, shape product strategy, and advance long-term growth in data center ecosystems.

Lead as a technical thought partner, coordinate with Product Management and Engineering, and engage strategic customers to drive roadmap decisions. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in hardware design, systems architecture for high-performance systems.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role translating complex concepts into customer value.
• Ability to work across functions and regions with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Strong technical judgment and clear communication for engaging customer engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% to customer sites and for strategic engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical and architectural resource for high-speed enterprise copper interconnect solutions, guiding early architecture decisions.
• Communicate Molex’s advantages by linking performance, manufacturability, scalability, and total system value to cloud and data center applications.
• Translate VOC input into product platforms and roadmaps with Product Management and Engineering.
• Identify new opportunities by engaging strategic customers and building technical relationships.
• Maintain broad understanding of enterprise/hyperscale ecosystems to guide strategic decisions.
• Represent Molex as a technical thought partner at industry conferences and forums.
