Job summary

Molex is expanding its Copper Solutions unit and seeks a System Architect to influence customer architectures, shape product strategy, and advance high-speed copper interconnect solutions for enterprise datacenters. You will engage customers early, translate insights into growth, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to drive roadmaps.

The role requires travel up to 25% to customer sites and regional engagements, with a pathway to impact across the CTO organization and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in hardware design, systems architecture for high-performance systems.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role translating complex concepts into customer value.
• Ability to work across functions and regions with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical and architectural resource for high-speed enterprise copper interconnect solutions, engaging customers during early architecture definition and development cycles.
• Communicate Molex's advantages by linking performance, manufacturability, scalability, and total system value to cloud, hyperscale, and data center applications.
• Translate VOC input into actionable guidance by partnering with Product Management and Engineering to guide platforms and roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities by engaging strategic customers and positioning Molex early in architecture decisions.
• Maintain broad understanding of enterprise/hyperscale ecosystems to guide strategic decisions.
• Represent Molex as a technical thought partner at industry events and forums.
