Job summary

Molex is recruiting a System Architect for the Enterprise Products team to influence customer architecture decisions and shape product strategy in high-speed copper interconnects. You will engage customers early, translate insights into growth, and work across product, engineering, and marketing to guide roadmaps.

You will own technical directions, collaborate with silicon partners, and participate in industry events to strengthen Molex's presence in data center ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in hardware design and systems architecture for high-performance systems.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role translating concepts into customer value.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and regions with PM, Engineering, Manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%, primarily to Silicon Valley and Austin, Texas, with additional travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical and architectural resource for high-speed enterprise copper interconnect solutions during early architecture definition and development cycles.
• Communicate Molex advantages by linking performance, manufacturability, scalability, and total system value to cloud, hyperscale, and data center apps.
• Turn VOC input into action by guiding product platforms and technology roadmaps with PM and Eng teams.
• Identify opportunities by engaging strategic customers and positioning Molex early in customer architecture decisions.
• Maintain a broad understanding of enterprise and hyperscale ecosystems to guide strategic decisions.
• Represent Molex as a technical partner at industry conferences and technical forums.
