Molex is seeking a System Architect to join the Enterprise Products team. You will influence customer architecture decisions and shape product strategy for high-speed copper interconnect solutions in data center ecosystems.

You will engage customers early, translate technical and market insight into sustainable growth, and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to drive platform roadmaps and technology investments. The role involves travel to customer sites and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in hardware design, systems architecture, or a related field for high-performance systems.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as engineering, field applications engineering, or technical account management.
• Ability to work across functions and regions with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Sound technical judgment and clear communication skills to explain trade-offs, risks and value.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%, primarily to customer sites in Silicon Valley and Austin, TX.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a senior technical and architectural resource for high-speed enterprise copper interconnect solutions during early architecture definition and development cycles.
• Communicate Molex advantages across next-generation copper technologies by linking performance, manufacturability, scalability and total system value to cloud and data center applications.
• Turn VOC input into action by guiding product platforms and technology roadmaps with Product Management and Engineering.
• Identify new opportunities by engaging strategic customers and positioning Molex early in architecture decisions.
• Maintain awareness of enterprise and hyperscale ecosystems to inform strategic decisions.
• Represent Molex as a technical thought partner at conferences, trade shows and technical forums.
