Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a Senior System Administrator to provide hands-on administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for mission-critical IT systems in secure environments. The role emphasizes Linux/Windows, virtualization, storage, and security across DoD-aligned infrastructure.

Requires TS/SCI with poly and federal contract experience. The candidate will manage core enclave services, ensure system compliance, and support complex operational environments, including classified settings.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of SA experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required.
• Five (5) years additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience administering or supporting AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as KVM, Proxmox, VMware.
• Experience with enterprise identity/authentication technologies (FreeIPA, Centrify, LDAP, AD).
• Knowledge of PKI, TLS, certificates, encryption, and cryptography.
• Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or similar containers.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Strong TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, firewalls, and hardening.

Responsibilities

• System Administration & Troubleshooting: Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems.
• Linux Server Administration: Install, configure, patch, upgrade, secure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/ Rocky/ CentOS).
• Core Infrastructure Services: Configure and maintain DHCP, DNS, domain services, identity management, authentication.
• Virtualization & Infrastructure Support: Deploy and support virtualized/containerized environments.
• Network & Storage Administration: Support storage platforms, network connectivity, and interfaces.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain systems per SSPs, STE/STN, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Classified Environment Support: Provide day-to-day admin in classified environments.
• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly.
