Job summary

Wyetech is seeking a highly qualified Systems Administrator to support federal government customers. Responsibilities include Linux system tasks, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. A TS/SCI clearance is required, with a polygraph as appropriate.

Candidates should have Hadoop/cloud administration certification and a degree in CS or related field. 4+ years of related experience may substitute for a degree.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph required.
• Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification with five years of experience managing large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four years of additional experience on projects with similar requirements may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic Linux tasks: SSH to Linux, install software (RPM/YUM).
• Manage and monitor Hadoop clusters and cloud infrastructure.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Traefik, Helm charts, Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Collaborate on government contracts and security requirements.
