Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a System Administrator II to optimize and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable operations for government networks. The role focuses on design, maintenance and operation of small to medium networks, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and performance tuning.

The candidate will work on-site at the customer location and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet mission requirements and comply with DoD standards and SPIN-C

Qualifications

AA/AS required or equivalent.
Azure Administrator certification or equivalent.
Security cert required or in progress.

Responsibilities

Manages the functionality and efficiency of computers running one or more operating systems.
Assists with routine technical support in management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
Helps troubleshoot system hardware and software issues.
Ensures performance and security meet network user needs.
Maintains workflows and is responsible for upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
