Job summary
Truist is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable software, automation, analytics, and reporting capabilities that elevate Problem Management across production systems.
You will partner with Problem Management, Incident, and Event Management teams to automate repetitive tasks, build dashboards, and develop data products using ServiceNow and related platforms. In-office role; 5 days/week.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages and architecture.
- Understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and security practices.
Responsibilities
- Adopts and refines software engineering standards and governance.
- Collaborates with senior engineers and architecture teams to shape technology approaches.
- Leads end-to-end design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions.
- Troubleshoots complex technical issues and improves reliability and performance.
- Provides technical guidance and reviews work to raise the technical bar.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and builds prototypes for new features.
