Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable software, automation, analytics, and reporting that improve Problem Management. You will work with enterprise technology teams to automate processes, develop dashboards, and build secure, governed solutions.

The role emphasizes reducing operational toil, automating procedures, and applying strong software engineering fundamentals across multiple ITSM domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, architecture, and design fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable software solutions for Problem Management and related domains.
• Lead end-to-end technical design and implementation of secure, available systems.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers; conduct design reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate new technologies and build prototypes to inform product direction.
• Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to implement governance and reliability patterns.
• Develop dashboards and data products using enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
