Volkert Inc. in Florida is hiring an experienced Survey Lead to support the Southeast Region. You will supervise survey technical staff, manage budgets, and ensure quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Florida with 8–10 years of FDOT survey experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to obtain licensure in additional states. Knowledge of QA/QC and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Florida) required.
• 8–10 years of FDOT survey experience.
• Desire and ability to obtain licensure in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead survey team; manage client relations.
• Bring in work and manage team and project budgets.
• Lead the survey team to meet schedules and client demands.
• Coordinate and manage outside survey subcontractors.
• Implement QA/QC practices for final deliverables.
• Develop fees and write/review proposals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
