Job summary

Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to scrub, prepare supplies, and maintain the sterile field. You will pass instruments to the surgeon and ready used instruments for cleaning and re-sterilization.

The role includes providing in-service education and assisting with department projects. Certification as Surgical Technologist and BLS are required, along with three years of experience in an acute multi-specialty environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED; after Jan 1, 2025, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or five years of Surgical Technologist experience in lieu.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist and American Heart Association BLS.
• Three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute multi-specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supplies for procedures and maintain the sterile field.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
• Readies used instruments for cleaning and re-sterilization.
• Provide in-service education and assist with department projects.

Education

High school diploma or GED; post-2025 hires require accredited Surgical Technology program
