Job summary

Corewell Health's Troy Hospital seeks a Senior Surgical Technologist to maintain and prepare the surgical suite, handle instruments intraoperatively, and uphold sterile conditions. You will monitor procedures, ensure protocol adherence, and mentor staff within the operating room.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a Surgical Technology degree, and 3 years of independent experience with ongoing CST/TS-C credentials, plus BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience with ongoing certification.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CST or TS-C NCCT certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the surgical suite and sterile field.
• Assist with intraoperative handling of instruments and changing conditions.
• Act as a preceptor and engage with management on curriculum
