Job summary

Corewell Health’s Troy Hospital in Troy, MI, is seeking an OR Technician to support the operating room team. You will assist staff with equipment handling, setup, and patient positioning under surgeon direction, not an IT role.

The role is full-time, day shift, 40 hours/week, with opportunities for specialized training in robotic systems and sterile technique. AHA/BLS is required on hire; OR experience is preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire required.
• Experience in the OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with daily equipment needs in the OR environment.
• Coordinate PMIs and repairs with appropriate disciplines.
• Set up and check patient equipment prior to case starts.
• Transfer and position the patient under the surgeon's direction.
• Scrub in to hold cameras, limbs, and retractors under the surgeon.

Education

High School Diploma Required

AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire Required
