Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency.
• Two years of surgical technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room, equipment and supplies for the next patient.
• Passes instruments and supplies during procedures and assists the surgeon as needed.
• Maintains sterile technique and supports department safety initiatives.
• Mentors and precepts new surgical technologists and supports orientation.
