Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency.
• Two years as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room, equipment and supplies for the next patient.
• Assists the surgeon and nursing staff during procedures and maintains counts.
• Teaches and mentors other surgical technologists as a preceptor.
