Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with timely, accurate setup.
• Set up sterile field; scrub in before patient entry.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and sutures are complete and functional.
• Run mayo and organize back table for others to step in.
• Manage case flow; anticipate needs and prepare for variety of case types.
• Teach RNs and junior staff; mentor peers in operative techniques.
