Job summary

ZEISS Group in Kentucky is seeking a Senior Equipment Specialist with a proven track record in capital equipment sales. You will drive new business, manage an annual sales plan and forecast the equipment pipeline while maintaining high clinical and technical knowledge.

The role requires a four-year degree and 5+ years of sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work within GMP/ISO guidelines. Travel and vehicle use are expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years' sales experience.
• High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and database management.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for region of responsibility while managing expenses.
• Conduct scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons, OR staff, and administration.
• Collaborate with team to ensure effective account management post equipment sale.
• Maintain territory records and measure results.
• Educate surgeons and staff on operation and application of products for satisfaction.
• Provide timely written and oral communications to management on activity.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards and updates for opportunities and leads.
• Develop synergy opportunities among Zeiss entities and partners when possible.
• Develop and implement marketing approaches tailored to the region.
