Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Scheduling Clerk to coordinate surgeries and procedures across the operating room, endoscopy, and anesthesia departments. You will liaise with physicians and staff, using Op-Time, EPIC, and ICD9 verification systems to ensure accurate scheduling and patient safety.

Primary duties include managing block times, communicating with physicians’ offices, and maintaining timely, organized daily schedules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule elective and urgent cases via telephone and fax.
• Schedules surgeries in OR, Endoscopy, and anesthesia suites.
• Maintain block bookings in EPIC and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospital staff to align resources.
• Communicate with departments to resolve scheduling conflicts.
