Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of underwriting or related field.
• Progression toward AF SB/CPA/RPLU is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships.
• Exceptional decision-making, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret business reports to support underwriting processes.
• Oversee risk selection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability for the branch office.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines in assessing risk quality.
• Review underwriting decisions and provide recommendations for extending surety credit.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with all parties.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to achieve objectives.
• Make timely, informed decisions using independent judgment and initiative.
• Uphold integrity and honesty in all business dealings.
