Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer in Roy, Utah, to lead systems integration for the Sentinel (GBSD) program within the SIS Enterprise Systems Integration team.

You will assess external interfaces, drive engineering processes, and resolve gaps in a dynamic, high-performance environment. The role requires strong systems engineering fundamentals, leadership, and experience with interface products and requirement specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; minimum experience required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with systems engineering across complex weapon systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems-integration activities across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with SEIT and other interface teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and review requirement specs and interface definition documents (IDD).
• Conduct verification/validation planning, cost and risk analyses, and requirements assessment.
• Perform trades studies to resolve cost and capability gaps.
• Demonstrate leadership and strong communication in a high-ethics environment.
