Job summary

icebreaker and Smartwool are seeking a Senior Supply Planner to ensure on-time procurement and inventory targets through close collaboration with Global Supply Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Distribution, and Customer Service. You will manage category-level planning, analyze risks, and optimize supply in a dynamic, branded environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a corporate supply chain environment, notably demand & supply planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and multi-task.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) and familiarity with reporting tools (Brio, SAP BO, Power BI).
• Experience with SAP and planning processes; travel ~5% or less.

Responsibilities

• Own category-level supply planning and buy recommendations using demand inputs, inventory, lead times, and MOQs.
• Create and route purchase requisitions in SAP to Global Supply Planning for execution.
• Provide monthly supply outlook and Open-to-Buy inputs to Inventory Planning.
• Monitor demand and supply timing using SAP and Excel trackers; re-phase supply as needed.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning during capacity/material constraints to align forecasts with feasible supply.
• Manage seasonal system setup and line plan validation with Demand Planning.
• Support leadership decisions with ad hoc analyses and reporting; drive continuous improvements.
