Job summary

VF Corporation's Smartwool division seeks a Senior Demand Planner to drive rolling demand forecasts and support the S&OP process across cross-functional teams. You will develop, monitor, and maintain forecasts using historical data and projections, guiding purchasing and supply planning decisions.

Strong Excel skills with Logility experience are required; communication, autonomy, and the ability to influence stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Excel skills are required; Logility or other forecasting systems preferred.
• MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) proficiency needed.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Professional certification through IBF and/or APICS is preferred.
• Ability to travel occasionally, approximately 5%.
• Experience with SAP, Brio, Cognos or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand plans using statistical forecasting tools and cross-functional input.
• Facilitate monthly cross-functional demand meetings and align on forecasts within the S&OP process.
• Use forecasting systems to improve forecast accuracy via root cause analysis and trend identification.
• Monitor forecast performance and identify drivers of variance; implement corrective actions.
• Provide stakeholders with updated forecasts, analysis, and insights through presentations and reports.
• Partner with Supply Planning to balance demand, production, inventory, and capacity.
• Lead cross-functional process improvements to strengthen demand planning and customer service.
