Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a qualified Supply Planner to own the intersection of engineering change and supply continuity. The role involves assessing ECN, BOM revisions, and configuration changes from initiation through implementation to protect schedule and inventory.

You will partner with Engineering, Procurement, Configuration Management, and Operations to determine effectivity dates, transition points, and phase-in/phase-out timing for seamless changes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply planning, materials planning, or configuration/change management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field ( Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
• Experience with MRP/ERP and/or PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Windchill, Arena).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to trace changes across BOM levels.

Responsibilities

• Own supply planning impact assessment for engineering changes affecting parts from initiation through implementation.
• Partner with Engineering, Configuration Management, Procurement, and Operations to set dates and phase-in/phase-out timing.
• Disclose disposition of superseded inventory and coordinate rework, scrap, or return-to-supplier.
• Review BOM structures and set baseline planning parameters for new products.
• Evaluate supply risk of proposed changes and flag long-lead components or open PO conflicts.
• Coordinate with procurement on change notifications and transition inventory.
• Track ECOs/ECNs against a change calendar and ensure on-schedule actions.
• Support New Part Introduction and engineering prototype builds with supply plans.
• Provide risk visibility into S&OP review and change control board meetings.
• Close gaps between engineering change control and supply planning as the company scales.
