Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a seasoned Supply Planner to own the intersection of engineering change and supply continuity. Translate ECO/ECN decisions into a viable supply plan, protecting inventory while ensuring the right revision parts are available on time.

Work with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to manage BOMs, lead times, and transition timing. This role supports NPI and prototype builds and provides risk visibility in S&OP meetings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply planning, materials planning, or configuration/change management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of ECO/ECN/ECR and BOMs, routings, and part masters.
• Experience with MRP/ERP and/or PLM systems (e.g., ION, SAP, Oracle, Windchill, Arena, or similar), including part revision control.
• Strong attention to detail – tracing a change across multiple BOM levels.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity – early-stage change processes.
• Strong Excel skills for building and maintaining manual tracking tools.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own supply planning impact assessment for engineering changes through implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Configuration Management, Procurement, and Operations to determine dates and timings.
• Disclose disposition of obsolete, excess inventory and coordinate actions.
• Review BOM structures and ensure planning parameters transfer across revisions.
• Assess supply risk for proposed changes and flag long-lead components.
• Coordinate with procurement on change notifications and transition inventory.
• Track open ECOs/ECNs against a change calendar and ensure on-schedule actions.
• Support NPI and prototype builds by aligning plans with configuration baselines.
• Provide status and risk visibility into S&OP and change control meetings.
• Identify gaps between engineering change control and supply planning as the company scales.
