Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to support planning, sourcing, contracting, procurement, logistics, and materials management for complex engineering and construction projects.

You will collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and budget alignment across multiple markets. The role offers growth in strategic sourcing and contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and supply chain knowledge.
• 3 years of experience in engineering/industrial/transportation construction related supply chain.
• 1 year of negotiation experience preferred or demonstrated ability to negotiate vendor subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the contract process for materials/equipment and negotiate terms.
• Purchase high quality materials at the lowest cost per specifications.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, and project teams to resolve issues with goods/services.
• Leverage vendors/subcontractors to create project cost savings.
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Manage RFPs, subcontracts, and status updates with Engineering and construction teams.
• Assist in procurement templates and high-risk contract negotiations.
• Support procurement staff meetings and provide legal/communication support.
