Job summary

Kiewit Supply Network seeks an Entry Level Supply Chain Specialist to negotiate and administer supplier contracts, purchase high-quality materials, and manage records. The role emphasizes cost efficiency, supplier evaluation, and timely execution in a dynamic construction environment.

The position requires relocation willingness and basic procurement experience, with opportunities across multiple US area offices. A strong team player with detail orientation will thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related degree preferred.
• 0-3 years’ experience in an engineering and/or construction related role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• General knowledge of database utilization.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Willing to travel/relocate as needed.
• Strong communication skills and team player.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
• Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest cost per specifications and drawings.
• Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, and inventories.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service and capability.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance for compliance and changes.
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, review requisitions.
