Job summary

Kiewit Supply Network seeks an entry‑level procurement professional to negotiate contracts, purchase materials, and manage supplier records. The role emphasizes meeting deadlines, cost control, and quality compliance while supporting project needs across multiple U.S. locations.

The ideal candidate has basic procurement exposure, strong organization, and teamwork skills. Candidates should be willing to relocate and travel as needed for postings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related degree preferred.
• 0-3 years’ experience in an engineering and/or construction related role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• General knowledge of database utilization.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
• Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amounts per specifications and drawings.
• Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance and inventories.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability and reputation.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and determine needs for changes.
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
