Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support Western region Infrastructure projects from our Westlake, TX office. You will own contracts end-to-end, negotiate terms, manage pricing and quantities, and resolve material issues to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 2+ years in supply chain/contracts, RFP/Bid experience, and strong collaboration with engineers, estimators, buyers and logistics. Willing to relocate to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience in supply chain/contracts in civil sector or military is required.
• Experience with RFP/Bid process, contract development/negotiation and execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and negotiate terms and conditions of supplier contracts for raw materials, equipment and services.
• Research/evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service and reliability.
• Manage change orders and ensure delivery of quality materials/equipment on time.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate proposals to select vendors meeting budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide cost, quality and schedule insights.
