Job summary

Kiewit Supply Network is seeking an Entry Level procurement-focused professional to negotiate and administer supplier contracts while ensuring high-quality materials at competitive costs. The role requires collaboration within our Supply Chain Management department and readiness to relocate as needed.

Based in the United States, the position emphasizes detail-oriented work, independence to meet deadlines, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, construction management or related field.
• 0-3 years’ experience in an engineering/construction related role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Basic knowledge of procurement; SAP experience a plus.
• Willing to travel/relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
• Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost per specifications and drawings.
• Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance and inventories.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and history.
• Evaluate contract performance to ensure compliance and determine needs for changes.
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
