Job summary

Dow seeks a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX to plan and coordinate production, packaging, and sourcing across multiple sites. You will balance supply and demand, optimize asset utilization, and support global supply chain initiatives with cross-functional teams.

You will analyze planning data, maintain master data, and guide less experienced teammates while working within established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required or above (U.S. E5 / Canadian PO2nd/Sergeant)
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related Sciences preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment
• Eligibility to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Generates time-phased supply schedules to meet short-term business requirements while considering plant-wide constraints and inventory targets
• Determines and/or executes effective regional or global sourcing rules
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes existing agreements
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models and ensures efficient information technology usage
• Serves as local site coordinator/planner for internal demand and environment-related operations
• Routinely checks inventory levels and ensures volumes meet the plan
• Identifies and addresses supply issues such as capacity constraints or shortages
• Leads cross-functional collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, and external providers
• Maintains production parameters and master data governance
• Supports global supply chain initiatives across the business and shared services
• Potential Planning Focus: Production/Packaging Planning, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning
