Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead planning, materials, and logistics at a West Michigan site and support NA cost centers. The role demands ownership of master scheduling, inventory management, and cross-functional leadership in a manufacturing setting.

You will partner with Operations to address bottlenecks, drive improvements, and mentor teams for performance and growth. Relocation support is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of supply chain, materials, or planning leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience owning or leading master scheduling and production planning functions.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and capacity planning principles.
• Experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site’s planning, materials, and logistics teams with accountability for execution, performance, and talent development.
• Own the master production scheduling process and ensure alignment between demand, capacity, material availability, and labor constraints.
• Drive demand and capacity planning, balancing long-range forecasts with short-term execution needs.
• Partner with Operations to address schedule attainment, throughput, bottlenecks, and production constraints.
• Serve as the primary interface between customers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders on delivery commitments and schedule changes.
• Oversee inventory management strategies, including accuracy, turns, excess, and obsolescence reduction.
• Develop and track KPIs like OTD, forecast accuracy, inventory metrics, and planning efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning discipline and waste reduction.
