Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist in Midland, MI. You will decide what, when, and where to supply for multiple sites, balancing supply and demand to optimize product availability and asset use.

Responsibilities include generating time-phased schedules, managing sourcing rules, and coordinating internal demand with production and utilities at the site. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience (US E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short-term, considering plant-wide constraints and customer service targets.
• Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes agreements already in place.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models and ensures efficient use of information technology.
• Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for integration of internal demand, utilities or environmental operations at a location.
• Monitors inventory quantity, slow-moving items, and ensures inventory volumes align with the plan.
• Identifies and addresses supply issues like capacity constraints or production shortages.
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, third-party providers and partners during unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters (material masters, work centers, routings) for effective planning.
• Follows best practices and governance over master data.
• Supports global supply chain initiatives across teams and shared services.
