Job summary

Dow Inc. in Midland, MI, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist to decide what, when, and where to supply for multiple production sites, balancing supply and demand across the horizon to maximize product availability and asset utilization.

You will lead site or regional planning, coordinate with manufacturing, logistics and customer service, and drive continuous improvement in planning systems and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements while considering plant constraints and meeting inventory and service targets.
• Determines and executes effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes agreements already in place.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models to ensure efficient information use.
• Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for internal demand, utilities or environmental operations.
• Routinely checks inventory levels and ensures alignment with the plan.
• Identifies, prioritizes and addresses supply issues (capacity constraints, shortages, etc.).
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics and partners to meet obligations during unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters and master data for planning.
• Supports global supply chain initiatives across functions.
