Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Maryland to oversee inventory and purchasing, ensuring on-time production across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, optimize supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting and costing.

Responsibilities include managing procurement, negotiating terms, and aligning with program managers on forecasting and order planning. Strong Excel/Access skills and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in contract manufacturing.
• Electronics manufacturing experience a plus.
• Must have supervisory experience and strong people management skills.
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, materials requirement planning, supply chains, contract negotiations, and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team comprised of Buyers and staff.
• Develop goals/metrics and track progress with focus on development.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production.
• Drive for increased inventory turnover.
• Explore for new suppliers and processes to optimize quality, price, delivery.
• Provide management with data/metrics to drive decisions.
• Interface with Program Managers on planning and forecasting of orders.
• Ensure standard practices for materials and department functions.
