Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory, warehousing, and shipping in a GMP environment. You will coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, QA, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate material handling and cost-effective support for operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pharmaceutical materials management, strong ERP/MRP experience, and a proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with at least 2 years experience in materials management.
• Experience in ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience shipping dangerous goods; DOT & IATA Training.
• Experience managing up to 10 direct reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage material flow and inventory accuracy.
• Develop warehousing policies and shipping procedures.
• Represent Supply Chain in audits and with clients.
• Source components and coordinate with vendors.
• Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams.
• Oversee receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels and production planning coordination.
• Monitor supplier relationships and ensure consistent supply.
• Collect and analyze data to inform decisions.
• Lead production planning staff and drive continuous improvement.
