Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Sr. Purchasing Manager to lead a multi-site team supporting the North America Commercial segment. You will drive procurement processes, optimize inventory, and lead cost-saving initiatives to improve material flow and supplier performance.

You will develop talent, manage MRP and inventory controls, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time, cost-effective materials for production. Overtime/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.
• College level mathematical skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of various programs.
• Full professional proficiency: speaking, reading, and writing fluently for professional needs.
• High reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret various forms.
• Strong report-writing standards.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site purchasing team and drive accountability and results.
• Develop talent and build team capabilities in procurement.
• Manage material purchasing, MRP, inventory and supplier relationships.
• Analyze inventories to improve turns and reduce waste.
• Implement site procurement processes to optimize inventory and cost recovery.
• Lead cost savings initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Set and monitor site KPIs and savings goals.
• Improve supplier lead times and implement Kanban replenishment.
• Communicate forecasted demand and manage order lead times.
• Establish KPIs for purchasing, inventory, and schedule attainment.
