Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking an experienced Materials Manager in New Hampshire to lead inventory control and warehousing operations within a GMP manufacturing setting. The role requires coordinating with supply chain and production teams to optimize material flow and reliability.

The candidate will manage receiving, storage, and shipping while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost-efficient processes. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of materials management experience in pharma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to multitask
• At least 5 years progressive experience in management of materials and inventory within a GMP setting, FDA regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience in total quality, six sigma, or other similar environments
• Knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment, System Implementation experience highly preferred
• Experience shipping dangerous goods, DOT & IATA Training, international shipments import/export regulations. Experience managing up to 10 direct reports
• Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and knowledge of various computer programs
• Full Professional Proficiency: Speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs
• Very High Reasoning: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions
• Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with abstract/concrete variables
• Ability to Travel
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, management or other related discipline
• 5+ Years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with at least 2 years experience in materials management

Responsibilities

• Manage material flow and inventory accuracy with Supply Chain team.
• Store and ship product; develop warehousing policies; manage inventory movement.
• Represent Supply Chain in audits; host warehouse tours/discussions.
• Work with clients on sourcing components.
• Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams.
• Consult with clients on receiving/shipping procedures.
• Manage receiving, order fulfillment, shipping and related activities.
• Coordinate production and inventory control; maintain inventory levels.
• Monitor supplier relationships; ensure supply continuity.
• Analyze inventory, delivery and sales orders; propose solutions.
• Interact with vendors on orders and materials.
• Provide management with data trends.
• Oversee production planning; support scheduling initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety.
