Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain – Distribution & Logistics to lead complex client engagements in the PEPI practice across the US. You will analyze supply chains, design improvements, and drive execution in distribution networks and warehouse operations.

You bring 7–10+ years of combined consulting and industry experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multi‑discipline teams and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Experience with distribution and logistics network optimization.
• Experience leading or modeling supply chains with software tools (e.g., Llamasoft).
• Excellent fact gathering and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of a client’s supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations.
• Develop a structured approach to assessing improvement opportunities and define strategies.
• Analyze network design and footprints for warehousing and distribution.
• Profile inventory flows and optimize network cost and service.
• Lead or conduct sourcing events involving 3PLs.
• Develop transformation plans and implementation timelines.
• Manage delivery quality and project teams.
• Travel as required.
