Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Senior Associate, Supply Chain – Distribution & Logistics to support PEPI engagements across the U.S. You will analyze network design, forecast inventory needs, and help implement sourcing and transportation strategies for portfolio companies.

Ideal candidates bring 4–7+ years in consulting or industry with hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or production planning, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Understanding of supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations, costs, and processes.
• Ability to assess opportunities and define strategies to meet growth and financial goals.
• Experience with network design, cost modeling, and inventory optimization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering large client engagements by working with PE leadership to identify and implement solutions.
• Analyze network design, warehousing and distribution costs, and inventory flows.
• Support sourcing events for transportation and 3PLs; assess inventory planning processes.
