Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Andover, MA is seeking a Quality Engineer onsite. You will lead rapid resolution of supplier issues, analyze nonconformances, and coordinate with quality, engineering and procurement to implement corrective actions.

Requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. DoD Secret or higher clearance preferred; experience with inspection methods, drawings, ISO/AS9100, and Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related technical field and 5 years of quality engineering experience.
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze non-conformance data and develop action plans to address top/systemic drivers.
• Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accurate nonconformances and robust root-cause analysis.
• Communicate part issues to suppliers and stakeholders.
• Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective hardware.
