Job summary

Raytheon in Farmington, NM is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive rapid resolution of supplier issues and implement root-cause corrective actions for DoD-grade hardware at the Dine Facility.

You will analyze non-conformance data, inspect hardware, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to implement robust corrective solutions. A STEM degree and U.S. citizenship for clearance are required; on-site work at the Raytheon Dine Facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM plus 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues impacting the factory with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze material non-conformance data and develop corrective action plans.
• Investigate supplied material issues ensuring accurate nonconformances and root-cause solutions.
• Communicate part issues to suppliers and stakeholders.
• Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective hardware.
