Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Senior Specialist - Customer Care to join its Centralized Customer Care team in Reno. The role focuses on resolving supplier invoice discrepancies, advising Accounts Payable on resolutions, and processing offsetting transactions per Wesco policies.

You will act as a subject matter expert within Sales and Operations, coordinating with multiple departments to research payables issues and ensure timely, accurate resolutions.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience required.
• Two (2) years of Oracle or other large integrated financial system experience preferred.
• Higher level accounting knowledge preferred (income statements, GL, balance sheets, sales, margins).
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
• Able to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies between Purchase Order and Supplier Invoice with minimal supervision.
• Process offsetting transactions including inventory and cost adjustments to ensure complete resolution.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for supplier invoice resolution for Sales and Operations.
• Liaison among Sales, Operations, Inventory Management, and Accounts Payable to research payables issues and communicate resolutions.
• Organize and manage a large volume of discrepancies across branches and escalate as needed to field management.
