FirstEnergy seeks a capable supervisor to lead field crews in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the electrical distribution system. You will ensure safety, manage real-time dispatch activities, and coordinate contingency and storm response efforts with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include performance reviews, data documentation, and participation in energy delivery operations. Weekend/overtime work and storm readiness are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor or Associate of Engineering (Electrical preferred) with 3+ years of related work.
• Leadership in operational supervision or dispatching duties.
• Ability to perform analytical calculations (voltage drops, loadings).
• Knowledge of electrical system components and dispatching information systems.

Mansioni

• Maintaining a high level of safety throughout day-to-day functions.
• Supervising field crews in operation and maintenance of the electrical distribution system.
• Ensuring compliance with policies for real-time dispatch operations.
• Supervising real-time use of ADMS/SCADA/DMS for system analysis and contingencies.
• Conducting performance reviews and providing coaching.
• Assisting with investigations of reliability or safety conditions.
• Developing contingency plans to prioritize service restoration.
• Assisting in emergency plans for storms or outages.
• Maintaining operating documentation and shift schedules.
• Participating in operational meetings and weekend/extended-day work as needed.
