Job summary

FirstEnergy's Mount Airy Service Center is seeking a seasoned supervisor for the transmission and distribution operations. You will direct and supervise crews, enforce safety standards, and ensure on-time, cost-conscious completion of projects.

This role requires a high school diploma with 7 years in electrical field, leadership experience, and strong communication. You will coordinate with other departments, manage resources, and support emergency responses to maintain system reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required plus 7 years related experience in an electrical field.
• Related work experience includes hazard responding, knowledge of construction and maintenance practices, procedures, work methods, materials, equipment and tools.
• Advanced knowledge of operations, repair and construction in Transmission/Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Directing and supervising employees engaged in complex construction, maintenance, repair, testing and operation of electric transmission & distribution systems.
• Developing and maintaining safety awareness among employees.
• Monitoring activities and enforcing conformance to established work practices while maintaining safety.
• Coordinating with other departments and assisting with work plan development.
• Ensuring timely and cost-efficient completion of work and proper close out information.
