Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Line Supervisor for Operations Line & Substation, based in Reading, PA. The role oversees construction, maintenance, and testing of the electric transmission and distribution system, directing crews and ensuring reliability.

The supervisor will lead field teams, enforce safety standards, mentor staff, and coordinate with other departments to schedule and execute line work. A strong electrical background and supervisory mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 5–7 years in electrical field.
• Advanced knowledge of transmission and distribution operations.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn CREWS, SAP, GIS and other tools.
• Strong leadership and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise line workers in transmission and distribution work.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards.
