Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Line Supervisor based out of the Washington Service Center in Pennsylvania to oversee employees engaged in complex construction, maintenance, repair, testing, and operation of the electric transmission and distribution system.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, supervision of line crews, and coordination with other departments to ensure reliability during normal operations and major storms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years’ related electrical field experience.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn CREWS, SAP, GIS, Flex OMS, Empower.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating and directing a solid commitment to safety.
• Directing and supervising line workers in electric transmission and distribution work.
• Coordinate installation of energized lines and transfers of circuit loads.
• Support public safety and system reliability during emergencies.
• Monitor activities and enforce safety and work practices.
• Coordinate equipment, tools, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinate with other departments and schedule work.
• Provide strong customer service.
• Counsel and acknowledge good performance.
• Train line employees in established practices and methods.
