Job summary

Suffolk is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead mission-critical construction efforts across data center and telecommunications projects in the United States. You will manage safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor performance, while maintaining strong owner and architect relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with project teams, and the ability to ensure project turnover meets baseline schedules and scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline and experience relative to project size/scope.
• 8–12 years of construction-related experience.
• Applicable area licenses.
• Excellent team development skills and leadership abilities.
• Strong ability to partner with the Project Manager and staff.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day job site activities including OSHA safety compliance.
• Direct field personnel according to the project plan and Suffolk principles.
• Communicate progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Manage project turnover and ensure schedule compliance.
• Lead safety, quality, and subcontractor management throughout the project.
• Attend and chair project and safety meetings.
• Maintain project documentation and logs.
