Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent for our Residential Construction team in South Florida. You will oversee the full construction lifecycle from pre-construction planning to project completion, supervising teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery while managing budgets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within residential construction.
• Proven experience in subcontractor management and coordinating multiple teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities to deliver high-quality work.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, tools, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in construction management software and related technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CCM or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the residential construction process, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality.
• Supervise construction teams, provide guidance, training, and feedback for optimal performance.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to meet plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, and stakeholders, maintaining open communication.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Participate in pre-construction planning, including reviewing plans, preparing estimates, and scheduling activities.
