Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Assistant Superintendent to support our luxury home construction projects in South Florida. You will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee scheduling, subcontractor coordination, inspections, and material procurement, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and per specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, strong problem-solving and time-management skills, and a solid understanding of OSHA guidelines and building codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction roles.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and building codes.
• Proficient communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient with construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing all functions of the job site for home construction.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and per plans.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities and subs.
• Maintain a safe work site per OSHA requirements.
• Monitor installation and startup of mechanical systems and coordinate inspections.
• Provide solutions to on-site problems and document decisions and actions.
• Maintain daily log of activities and project handover process with client.
